Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library will be having a book sale the weekend of March 29-31.  If you have any items to donate, please bring them to the Community Room during library hours.  Please do not bring any encyclopedias, textbooks or magazines.  While shopping for books on Saturday, March 29, the Teen Council will be selling baked goods to benefit the Teen Summer Reading program.

The Friends of the Library would like your help in addition to supporting their upcoming sale.  As a fundraiser, they would like to publish a cookbook with proceeds to benefit the library.  However, a cookbook without recipes is pretty much not worth reading or buying!  Forms for submitting your favorite recipes are available on both levels of the library.  Please place the forms in the collection boxes by June 1st.  Thank you for your cooperation!

Anne of Green Gables

On Saturday, May 3 at 2pm, the Friends of the Library will be hosting an “Anne of Green Gables  program similar to the “Little Women” program held this past December.  It is recommended that adults and children wishing to register for this program consider reading the book and/or watching the movie.  The library will have a few extra copies of the book and movie available so that participants may be able to make a connection with the story.
