Library Holiday Closing

The library will be closed Saturday through Monday in observance of the Labor Day holiday.  We will reopen with our normal hours on Tuesday.

Library Cards

Community members are welcome to get a library card at any time of the year but September is designated as Library Card Sign Up Month.  If you don’t have a card or lost a card, please stop by and see us.  It is library policy that patrons show a library card or some form of identification when checking out materials.  We have had too many identity issues which make it necessary to enforce this policy.  Please remember to bring your card and those of your children as well when coming here.  This policy is for your protection.

We often get asked “How old do children have to be to get a card?”  The answer to that is it’s never too early to get a card.  Newborns may receive a library card.  In fact, the Friends of the Library have a “Books for Babies” packet available here at the library for infants receiving a card.  Stop by and check us out!
