August 13, 2008 Citizen News Library Column
Raffle Prize Winners
The raffle drawing was held at the alternate
location of the high school on Friday, August 8th. The teen program winners are as follows: Schuyler Kogan won the Kodak camera; the MP3
Player went to Regan Mulrooney; and the $100 Visa Gift Card was won by
Christian Fiscella. The members of the
Teen Council earned the money needed to purchase the raffle prizes by holding
two bake sales during the Friends of the Library book sales. We are very proud of them and their
accomplishments.
Raffle winners from the Birth to Fifth Grade
program are: Aquadoodle Mat went to
Anthony Tesar; Disgusting Science Kit – Erik Dighton; Indiana Jones Lego Kit – Bart Flaherty;
Backyard Habitat – Zachary Stanziano; Butterfly Tent – Abigail Greco; Dance
Challenge Electronic Mat – Maura Herbertson; Power Tour Electric Guitar – Nick
Mellas; The Claw Arcade Game – Catherine Coughlin. Thank you to all those children who
participated in this year’s program. The
gifts were packaged in the reusable “green” bags from the Friends of the
Library. Inside each bag there was also
an adorable yellow or black Labrador retriever stuffed animal donated by Cabin
Critters. Prizes were subsidized by the
Friends of the Library.
